What would your job be like?

As a Tester at MyQ, you will help us build unique software connecting hundreds of multifunctional printers with thousands of users, saving them time through mobile and server applications. You will work in a small international team from a modern office with a view of Prague 9 and accessible parking.

 

• You will be part of a dynamic team that values an open and friendly culture. We prefer free thinking in our work and to avoid unnecessarily restrictive processes.
• We work in agile environment, and the QA team collaborates closely with the development, product, documentation, and support departments.
• As part of the position, you may need to step in on the support team when necessary, making the role dynamic across multiple teams with communication with our customers.
• We have an interesting Tech Stack. We use internal tools, as well as Confluence, JIRA, Postman, Hyper-V, PowerShell, TeamCity, TestRail, and more.
• You will engage daily with developers, reporting bugs with suggestions for their resolution, creating and modifying test cases, and compiling documentation materials. It's not just about testing the website!

What we expect from you

• You have previous experience in testing or providing support, you are familiar with software and IT, and you are not afraid of hardware
• Your technical knowledge includes Windows OS, networks and network protocols, basics of virtualization and servers, databases.
• You are familiar with TCP, UDP, Wireshark, Hyper-V, VMware 
• You have at least a high school education with an IT focus or relevant IT courses.

• You can communicate fluently in English – our team is international, and you will often communicate with foreign programmers.
• You're a quick learner, possess analytical thinking, and pay attention to details.
• Knowledge of Confluence, JIRA, Postman, and printing solutions is an advantage but not a requirement.
