Time saved for more pressing tasks

Challenge

The municipality of the Czech city Čáslav needed better management for their daily printing. Without any printing solution, their printing devices were not properly interconnected, lacked adequate security, and were not user-friendly for both users and administrators, who often needed to attend to them.  

Řešení

MyQ X installed on the MFPs put the municipality’s printing in the desired order. The fleet administration can be now done from one central place, and IT admins can apply settings for all users, which makes the print management much easier for them. Users save time as well, e.g. with direct scanning to predefined folders, and thanks to the Job Roaming function, they can print from any MFP that is currently closest to them. 

Výhody

MyQ’s centralized management allowed to set up general monochrome printing, which saves the office up to 30% of print costs annually compared to previous years. Also, MFP login is now protected by mandatory PIN code authentication, so users’ documents are protected. However, the biggest benefit remains the time staff saves for more important tasks than printing.
