MyQ 7.5 – It’s All about Productivity and Connectivity

MyQ 7.5 just rolled out, see what´s new...

MyQ, the developer of print management solutions, has rolled out 7.5, a major update to its flagship MyQ Solution for Multi-Functional Devices. The newly updated MyQ 7.5 provides people—whether at large enterprises or students at schools—with an easier, faster approach to managing their document workflow.

“It’s all about stripping out unneeded steps and processes that eat away productive time,” stated Martin Janus, CEO of MyQ. “Whether this is easier access to the cloud, using contact lists, or managing scanner technologies; our goal with 7.5 has been to simplify your life and help you get more use out of a Multi-Functional Device.”

Here is a short summary of the new MyQ 7.5 capabilities:

Scan directly to the cloud

MyQ now comes with easy, direct integration to Amazon Web Services, the world’s leading cloud storage provider, enabling you to scan documents directly to the desired Amazon S3 bucket. This new capability enables system administrators to select the Amazon cloud destination of their choice based on MyQ’s pre-defined parameters.

Put your address book contacts to work

Share scans and documents more easily with your MS Exchange contact list. Once an admin sets up the new rules within MS Exchange, your contacts can be sent to MyQ. This enables you to directly search through your contact list at the MyQ terminal for faster and easier sharing of documents.

Automate workflows with ScannerVision for HP

ScannerVision enables you to automate your workflows by easily capturing, processing, and storing a wide range of scanned documents from simple texts, PDFs, to QR codes. In addition, it includes a variety of specialized templates to help you define how these scans should be processed and shared. Once limited to only KYOCERA, ScannerVision is now available across all HP MFDs in the MyQ portfolio.

Just print it with AirPrint

All you need is your iPhone when it’s time to print – just open the document and select print from the iPhone. The desired document will be sent to the printer from the MyQ print server, without you needing to install either the printer or any special drivers for it. As an Apple singularity concept, it allows you to use the native print driver in your iPhone to send any files to the selected MFD.

We’ve got the lingo for you

MyQ has added Finnish, Flemish, and Dutch, simplifying operations for these linguistic groups. This brings the total MyQ language count to well over 30.
