MyQ X Patch 15: Smarter navigation, higher security and more flexibility

A smoother interface for IT managers and more control over document security for every user.
The latest update to our print management platform, MyQ X Patch 15, is here. This release focuses on two important areas for IT managers and end users alike: simplifying interface navigation and reinforcing security without losing flexibility.
No more “tab hell”
In previous versions of MyQ X, each action opened a new tab by default. Over time, this could lead to dozens of tabs crowding the panel, an issue familiar to many IT managers and power users. With Patch 15, we’ve streamlined this behavior.

Now, new tabs open only when you intentionally create them, either by clicking the “plus” button or using Shift+Click. This means you can keep a clean, single-tab experience while navigating the interface, or open multiple tabs when it’s genuinely useful (for example, during trainings). The choice is yours, and your workspace stays neat.

Security meets flexibility with Print and Keep
Another key update addresses the Print and Keep functionality. Until now, print jobs were automatically stored for 24 hours, making reprints fast and simple. While convenient, this raised concerns for users handling sensitive or confidential documents.
With Patch 15, every print job is now fully under the user’s control. You decide whether a file should remain stored for quick reprints or be discarded immediately after printing. This small change delivers a big step forward in security but keeping the same experience that our users love: protecting data when needed, while preserving the convenience that Print and Keep was designed for.
MyQ X Patch 15 now brings the option to deactivate Print and Keep upon the job request.
Availability
The update officially went live on September 3. MyQ Partners who are subscribers of the Community Portal were already notified about the release by email.
