Lorient Agglomération fleet is reduced, reorganized,
and ready to print
implementation
Challenge
Lorient Agglomération’s recent consolidation from eight locations to a single site created multiple printing service obstacles.
Their new 300-employee facility needed to reorganize its printing equipment, simplify maintenance, and better manage user access to the system. The other issue was modernizing the document handling service to provide greater security and flexibility.
Solution
Lorient Agglomération discarded their obsolete desktop devices in favor of 30 modern Kyocera multifunction printers (MFPs) with Device Alert Notification. The new MFPs were equipped with the MyQ-powered Kyocera Net Manager (KNM).
Result
The MyQ Mobile app and pull printing allowed for increased document security and flexibility when it came to retrieving documents.
Simplified maintenance with automated alerts enabled by the MyQ Service Module freed the hands of their IT department, allowing them to focus on more crucial tasks. Unifying their printer fleet reduced the overloads of individual MFP systems.
“The MyQ document solution we implemented allowed us to standardize our equipment, personalize the interface, enable greater mobility, secure printing, and simplify equipment maintenance.
Our service provider supported us from start to finish in the process, from validating our choices to deploying the equipment and solution in just two weeks."
Marc Guyonvarch, Production Systems Manager of the DSI
