We are looking for an Engineering Delivery Manager to strengthen execution across engineering teams, improve predictability of delivery, and partner closely with senior technical leadership to scale both team performance and product development.
The Role
We are looking for someone who will take ownership of multiple engineering teams and their delivery.
This is not a purely managerial role — you need to understand software development in depth, be able to challenge engineers and architects, and at the same time lead people and drive execution.
You will act as a delivery and people leadership partner for engineering — improving planning, increasing accountability, removing bottlenecks and helping teams deliver complex software more predictably.
What You’ll Do
Lead Teams & Performance
- Lead multiple development teams and their day-to-day work
- Manage performance: identify who is delivering, who is struggling, and take action
- Address team issues (performance, communication, organization)
- Drive accountability, ownership and execution discipline
Own Delivery & Execution
- Drive planning and prioritization (what gets done and when)
- Ensure work is completed — not delayed or left unfinished
- Track dependencies, risks and delivery progress across teams
- Push for predictable delivery, better throughput and reliable releases
Be a Technical Partner
- Work closely with developers, testers and architects
- Help evaluate task complexity, estimates and risks
- Challenge unrealistic timelines or overcomplicated solutions
- You don’t need to code daily, but must be able to go into technical detail when needed
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in engineering management, delivery leadership or similar role
- Experience leading multiple engineering teams
- Background as a software engineer or technical lead
- Experience with B2B product software (SaaS is a plus)
- Ability to recognize unrealistic estimates or inefficient solutions
- Strong ownership mindset — you don’t let things “fade away”, you push them to completion
- Comfortable handling difficult situations (underperformance, missed commitments, conflicts)
