エンドオブライフ ポリシー
開発やサポートを終了する理由には、以下のようなケースが考えられます。
- コンピューティング、ネットワーク、セキュリティの進歩により、古いアプリケーションの維持が現実的、合理的でなくなる場合
- 開発リソースを限定的に使用されている古い製品よりも、新プロジェクトに配分した方がいい場合
- 内部コードの変更に伴い、モジュールや公開APIの新バージョンが必要になった場合
エンドオブライフ（EOL:End-of-Life）に関する発表は、90日前までにこちらに 掲載されます。
エンドオブライフ（EOL）のプロセス
EOL:End-of-Lifeとは、アプリケーションが動作しなくなることではありません。ユーザーは引き続き使用することができます。EOLとは、MyQがサポートにリソースを割かない可能性があることを示し、アップグレードの提案を促すものです。
既存のソフトウェアは、
- 6ヶ月間、LTS*長期サポートバージョンでは24ヶ月間保守されます。
- 購入されたソフトウェア保証の全有効期間を通じてサポートされます。
- メンテナンス終了が発表された際に、アップグレードパスが提供されます。
*LTS(Long-term Support)版は、スタンダード版よりも長期間保守され、全機能とコンポーネントの可用性が保証されておりますので、アップグレードが見込めない、あるいは不可能なプロジェクトにお勧めです。
EOL（＝End of Life）期間中のソフトウェアサポート
MyQは、認定パートナーを通じてカスタマーにサポートを提供します。
最新バージョンのサポートは以下の通りです。
- 運用サポート - MyQ製品の操作、運用方法についての質問にお答えします。
- トラブルシューティング - MyQ製品の問題を解決するヒント集です。
- ソフトウェアメンテナンス - 現在のソフトウェアバージョンのバグフィックス、ホットフィックス、パッチ*をリリースします。
製品がソフトウェアメンテナンス終了の段階になると、MyQはその製品やソフトウェアのバージョンに対して限定的なサポートしか提供できなくなります。問題が発生した場合、お客様は最新のバージョンにアップグレードすることが必須となります。
旧バージョンのサポートは以下の通りです（有効なソフトウェア保証が必要です）。
- 運用サポート - サポート対象となる最新バージョンへのアップグレードをご案内します。
- トラブルシューティング - MyQ製品の問題を解決するヒント集です。
*MyQソフトウェアを常に最新バージョンにアップデートしておくことを推奨します。
